Snow Roise

The Snow Rose (Helianthemum spp.), also known as Rock Rose or Sun Rose, is a low-growing flowering shrub valued for its delicate blooms and spreading habit. Helianthemum plants are especially suited to sunny, dry gardens and rockeries.

• Appearance: Forms a compact, spreading mound of small green to grey-green leaves with masses of delicate flowers. Snow Rose varieties typically produce white to creamy-white blooms, while other Helianthemum varieties may flower in yellow, pink, orange, or red.
• Indoor/Outdoor Use: Best suited as an outdoor flowering plant for rock gardens, borders, slopes, pathways, and groundcover planting.
• Care: Prefers full sun, excellent drainage, and relatively dry conditions. It performs well in poor or rocky soils and does not tolerate prolonged waterlogging.
• Benefits: Low-growing, drought-tolerant, colourful when flowering, and useful for covering exposed sunny areas while attracting pollinators.
