The Mimosa pudica, commonly known as Shame Plant, Sensitive Plant, Touch-Me-Not, or Sleepy Plant, is a fascinating tropical plant known for its delicate fern-like leaves that fold inward when touched or disturbed.

• Appearance: Features fine, feathery green leaves on slender stems, often with small prickles, and produces fluffy pink to purple spherical flowers.
