The Rhapis excelsa, commonly known as Lady Finger Palm, Lady Palm, or Bamboo Palm, is a compact evergreen palm valued for its elegant fan-shaped leaves and slender, bamboo-like stems. It is especially popular for indoor spaces and shaded tropical landscapes.

• Appearance: Forms dense clumps of thin, fibrous stems topped with glossy dark-green fan-shaped leaves divided into narrow finger-like segments.
• Indoor/Outdoor Use: Excellent as an indoor ornamental palm and can also be grown outdoors in warm, shaded or partially shaded locations.
• Care: Prefers bright indirect light to partial shade, well-draining soil, and moderate watering. Keep the soil lightly moist but avoid waterlogging and harsh direct sunlight.
