Pale Flax

The Linum bienne, commonly known as Pale Flax, Narrowleaf Flax, or sometimes Yellow Flax in trade, is a slender flowering plant valued for its delicate blooms and fine-textured foliage. It works well in natural-style gardens, borders, and mixed flowering areas.

• Appearance: Features thin upright stems with narrow green leaves and delicate flowers held above the foliage. The blooms are typically pale blue to lilac rather than bright yellow.
• Indoor/Outdoor Use: Best suited as an outdoor flowering plant for borders, meadow-style planting, rock gardens, and mixed flower beds.
• Care: Prefers full sun, well-draining soil, and moderate watering. It performs best in open, sunny locations and does not like prolonged waterlogging.
