The Dragon Fruit (Selenicereus undatus, formerly Hylocereus undatus), also known as Pitaya, is a climbing tropical cactus known for its long, fleshy stems and brightly coloured edible fruits. Its striking growth habit and unusual fruits make it both an attractive ornamental plant and a productive fruit crop.
- Appearance: Features long, green, segmented cactus stems that climb or cascade over supports. It produces large white flowers followed by bright pink to red fruits with distinctive green scales.
