Donkey’s Tail

The Sedum morganianum, commonly known as Donkey’s Tail, Burro’s Tail, or Horse’s Tail, is a trailing succulent prized for its long cascading stems densely covered with plump blue-green leaves. It is especially popular in hanging baskets and elevated containers.
- Appearance: Produces long trailing stems packed with fleshy, teardrop-shaped blue-green leaves. Mature plants may also produce small pink to reddish flowers at the stem tips.
- Indoor/Outdoor Use: Best suited as an indoor or sheltered outdoor succulent, especially in hanging baskets, shelves, balconies, and raised planters.
- Care: Prefers bright light, very well-draining soil, and light watering. Allow the soil to dry between waterings and handle gently, as the leaves detach easily.
- Benefits: Drought-tolerant, low-maintenance, highly decorative, and excellent for creating cascading succulent displays.
