Blue Fern

The Phlebodium aureum, commonly known as Blue Star Fern or Blue Fern, is a tropical fern valued for its distinctive blue-green fronds and soft, flowing growth. Its unusual foliage makes it especially attractive for homes, offices, shaded patios, and decorative indoor plant displays.

• Appearance: Features long, lobed fronds in attractive shades of blue-green to silvery green, growing from creeping rhizomes.
• Indoor/Outdoor Use: Best suited as an indoor ornamental plant, though it can also grow outdoors in warm, shaded and humid conditions.
• Care: Prefers bright indirect light, moist but well-draining soil, and moderate to high humidity. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings and avoid strong direct sunlight.
• Benefits: Highly decorative, relatively easy to maintain, and excellent for adding soft texture and unusual foliage colour to indoor spaces.
