The Anthurium andraeanum, commonly known as Flamingo Flower, Laceleaf, or Painter’s Palette, is a popular tropical ornamental plant admired for its glossy foliage and distinctive heart-shaped flowers. • Appearance: Features glossy, dark-green heart-shaped leaves with colourful waxy flower-like spathes in shades of red, pink, white, or orange surrounding a central upright spadix.
• Indoor/Outdoor Use: Best suited as an indoor flowering plant. It can also be grown outdoors in warm, humid, shaded environments, especially in protected patios and tropical gardens.
• Care: Prefers bright, indirect light, warm temperatures, high humidity, and well-draining soil. Water when the upper layer of soil begins to dry, while avoiding prolonged waterlogging.
