Agave Ferox (Lion’s Tail Agave)

The Agave ferox is a bold, architectural succulent known for its large, rigid leaves and strong spines. Its dramatic form makes it an excellent feature plant for dry gardens, rock gardens, entrances, and modern landscaped spaces.

• Appearance: Forms a large rosette of thick, blue-green to grey-green leaves with pronounced teeth along the edges and a sharp terminal spine. Its strong geometric shape gives it a striking sculptural look.
• Indoor/Outdoor Use: Best suited as an outdoor succulent and landscape plant. It can be grown in large containers, but because of its size and sharp spines, it is generally better for open outdoor spaces.
• Care: Prefers full sun, well-draining soil, and infrequent watering. Allow the soil to dry well between waterings and avoid waterlogged conditions.
