Adam’s Needle, Needle Palm

The Yucca filamentosa, commonly known as Adam’s Needle, Needle Palm, or Thread-and-Needle Yucca, is an evergreen ornamental plant known for its stiff sword-shaped leaves and tall spikes of creamy white flowers. It is widely used in dry gardens, borders, rock gardens, and architectural landscape planting.

• Appearance: Forms a dense rosette of long, pointed blue-green to green leaves, often with distinctive curly white threads along the leaf margins. Mature plants produce tall flower stalks covered with bell-shaped white flowers.
• Indoor/Outdoor Use: Best suited as an outdoor landscape plant for sunny garden beds, borders, rock gardens, entrances, and dry landscapes.
• Care: Prefers full sun, well-draining soil, and light to moderate watering. Once established, it is highly tolerant of heat and dry conditions.
